Antananarivo
Assistance at the airport, handing out of the programme, briefing. Transfers to the hotel.
Antananarivo – Antsirabe
8h, drive to Antsirabe, a nice and quiet time. 170Km drive. On the way, take advantage of admiring the beautiful landscape, Richfield, green vegetation. Possibility of visiting some workshops making handicrafts in wood or in clay. Overnight in a hotel. Visit of the town of Antsirabe with rickshaws included the big market, workshops of embroiders and precious stones. Dinner at the hotel.
Antsirabe – Ranomafana
After breakfast, drive to Ambositra, a village of Zafimaniry famous for its wooden handicrafts. Then continue to Ranomafana. Dinner at the hotel. Possibility for a night walk.
Ranomafana – Mananjary
In the morning, visit of the National Park. Lunch picnic. Then continue to Mananjary in the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.
Mananjary – Ambohitsara
First day of the cruise on the Pangalane Channel to go to Ambositra inn, at 60Km from Mananjary. Overnight on full board at Ambohitsara inn.
Ambohitsara – Nosy Varika – Masomeloka
Leave Ambohitsara- you are on the second day of the cruise on the channel. Admire the green vegetation along the channel. Dinner at the hotel local and simple accommodation.
Masomeloka – Mahanoro – Vatomandry
Today is the end of the cruise on the Channel. Visit of the small villages, where green vegetation abound. At few kilometres from Mahanoro, you cross the mouths of the mangoro river. At Mahanoro, the car is already waiting to transfers you to Vatomandry. Dinner at the hotel.
Vatomandry – Tamatave
Breakfast, then you cross plantations of litchi. Arrival at Tamatave. Settlement in a hotel. Visit of town, the biggest harbour in Madagascar, the Betsimisaraka region. Dinner at the hotel.
Tamatave – Andasibe
Drive to the park of Andasibe. You'll see the bare lands of the highlands, the cliffs, the electrical centre of Mandraka, the plains of Bezanozano, the green forest is everywhere. Perinet is a town where vegetation is breathtaking, Overnight. Dinner at the hotel.
Andasibe
Today you'll discover the primary forest with a guide. On extraordinary day to see the lemurs in its habitat : Indris, Hapalemurs, flowers, majestic Orchids. Picnic lunch. Night, dinner in a hotel.
Andasibe - Antananarivo
Back to Antananarivo. On the way you see beautiful landscape. 16h arrival at the capital city of Madagascar.
