Day 1 : Nosy-Be – Antananarivo

Reception at Antananarivo airport, if time permits, visit to the city of Antananarivo or visit “LE CROC FARME” (it all depends on the horror of the theft).

Day 2 : Antananarivo - Antsirabe

Departure in the morning around 7 a.m. for Antsirabe, you will take advantage of several photo stops in magnificent landscapes along the road. Visit to Lake Tritriva and Andraikiba. Visit of the City and its particular specialty. Installation and dinners at the hotel.

Day 3: Antsirabe - Miandrivazo (220 km, approximately 4 hours drive)

Departure after breakfast, the driver and guide will pick you up from the hotel. Through picturesque mountains to reach the town of Antsirabe, the 'city of salt'. During the trip, the first stop at Ambatolampy to visit traditional workshop for making aluminum pans. Visit the town and some workshops where they worked zebu horns. Installation and dinner at the hotel in Miandrivazo.

Day 4 and 5: Descent of the Tsiribihina (140 km; 2 days and 2 hours)

With the boat, several visits were enjoyed during the journey. 1st day of the descent of the famous Tsiribihina river. You will discover the magnificent landscapes. You will see many varieties of birds and chameleons. After a long busy day, you need rest and a night with a tent that we have provided.

After breakfast on the 2nd day, we continue the descent. Passing through the Bemaraha gorge allows us to see the species of lemurs (sifaka and fulvus which come to drink from the river). We stop at the Anosinampela waterfall. Possibility of swimming under the natural waterfall. Lunch in the boat, then we continue and spend the night by the river. Breakfast in the boat, we take the descent from Tsiribihina, this will be our last day on the boat. We can observe turtles, bats and crocodiles during the crossing. At the end of the morning it is the end of the boat trip

Day 6: Tsiribihina - Kirindy - Morondava

The 4x4 awaits us for the continuation of the adventure. Visit to Kirindy Park where there will be the chance to see the famous carnivore named FOSA in Madagascar. Visit to the Baobabs including: The sacred baobab, Baobabs in love and the avenue of the Baobabs. A very good opportunity to make postcards from the trip to Madagascar on the ALLEE DE BAOBAB for world heritage. Installation and dinners at the hotel in Morondava.

Day 7: Free day

Continuation of the adventure. After lunch in the boat, then transfer to Bekopaka (Bemaraha). We arrive late in the afternoon. Night at the hotel or bungalow.

Day 8: Morondava - Antsirabe (487 km approximately 8 hours drive)

This day is the exploration of the large rocks of the plateau. You discover different animals and wild plants. Return to the hotel or picnic lunch. Visit to the little Tsingy in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Antsirabe - Antananarivo (171km or 4 hours drive)
